A cooler air mass will bring a frost risk to the area the next couple nights, particularly Tuesday night. The looks to mainly impact the inland areas of northern lower Michigan and the eastern UP. Winds tonight may be strong enough to keep cold air from settling in tonight, potentially preventing a widespread frost. However, while there remains some uncertainty in how quickly clouds move in Tuesday night, it is looking increasingly likely for frost to be able to occur. Regardless, it is best to err on the side of caution and take precautions ahead of time to protect your plants! |
